This is a very special day at the Palm Springs Air Museum. This year’s 1 PM Ceremony commemorates the 75th Anniversary of the Doolittle Tokyo Raid.  2nd Lt. Aden Jones was the bombardier on the 3rd plane out of 16 that participated in the Doolittle Raid. Jones passed away before the US Government awarded Congressional Gold Medals to the Doolittle Raiders in April of 2015. We are honored to be able to present the Congressional Gold Medal to Lt. Jones’ sister, Janet Davidson. She is a Gold Star Wife and Palm Springs resident.
